The MCP4725 DAC module is a 12-bit buffered digital-to-analog converter with non-volatile memory (EEPROM). It uses a two-wire I2C compatible serial interface and operates on a supply voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V.
Most microcontrollers, such as the Arduino series, do not include true analog outputs and only provide PWM signals. The MCP4725 adds a real analog output to your projects. This breakout board gives you access to all required pins, with optional pull-up resistors for the I2C bus.
