Overview

This Digital Oscilloscope with Function Generator combines a dual-channel digital oscilloscope and an integrated DDS waveform generator in a single bench-top instrument. It is intended for electronics development, troubleshooting, education, and laboratory measurements where both signal observation and signal generation are required.

The oscilloscope section provides real-time signal acquisition with high sampling rate, wide bandwidth, and adjustable vertical and horizontal scaling. The integrated function generator supports a wide range of waveform types and frequencies, allowing direct stimulus and testing of electronic circuits without additional equipment.

I am very happy with the purchase of this relatively inexpensive, but very good scope and signal generator device.
It works perfectly and is extremely accurate. It is feature packed for the price. I highly recommend the product, and I highly recommend buying from Universal-Solder for a great shopping experience, great prices, and fast shipping.

Easy to use. Exactly as advertised. Wish it had a longer cord from the wall adapter.

Haven’t used a scope for many years and not one with this functionality. Used to pack a std. scope, storage scope, signal generator and multimeter into cases to fly allover NWT to repair Navaids for aircraft. This unit would have saved a lot of time and effort.

Many years age I would spend hours in the electronics lab writing a report on a waveform. We neede to know: frequency, (calculated from the wavelength.), peak to peak values, DC offset, duty cycle, etc. When I turned the scope on and pressed the “AUTO” button, I had a silly smile on my face as this scope spelled out the pareameters in text beside the waveform on the scren. I’m still smiling. It may not be as good as an expensive laboratory ‘scope. But it is darn good. (I’m still smiling.) I would buy this again. Happy customer.

This is a great oscilloscope for a hobbyist. Bright, clear display. Very portable. It has all the standard features of professional scopes, with a familiar layout. Two probes and a third BNC connector with alligator clips are provided. I used it to debug some RS-232 signals being sent to a xyz positioner; the triggering options were useful to catch the signals. The internal signal generator is handy. I measured the rise time of the square wave to be about 12 nsec, corresponding to a 30 MHz bandwidth. This limitation could be due to either the generator or the scope. The instructions are clear that the 100 MHz bandwidth only applies to the probes on the 10X setting. For the price, you can’t beat this scope for a home electronics enthusiast.

Good basic scope for price. The Function generator feature is very handy as well. usb powered, very light and portable. Handy as a first scope or secondary.
