The Ai-Thinker ESP-01S IoT Module is a self-contained SOC with an integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can give any microcontroller access to your Wi-Fi network.

The ESP8266 is capable of either hosting an application or offloading all Wi-Fi networking functions from another application processor.

Each ESP8266 module comes pre-programmed with an AT command set firmware. This means you can simply hook it up to your Arduino board and get out of the box Wi-Fi-ability!

Note: The ESP8266 Module is a 3.3V module and needs a logic level converter if you want to use it in a 5V environment, for example together with an Arduino UNO R3.
