DIY FM Stereo radio receiver kit with LED display, based on the RDA5807 chip. This kit includes a built-in amplifier with speaker and 3.5mm headphone port. Power can be supplied using 2 AA batteries or through a USB port.
Since the Stereo Radio DIY Kit requires to solder a few SMD parts, we don't recommended this kit for beginners. A proper soldering station with pencil tip and fine solder (0.6-0.8mm) is highly recommended to makes this project a success.
You control the frequency and audio volume with tactile push buttons. The frequency is shown on the 4-digit LED display. A trim potentiometer allows adjust the maximum audio level to avoid clipping.
Assembly required. Includes all components, speaker, antenna, enclosure, and battery holder.
