The CANABLOX® 144 LED Matrix Display CX-LEDMX-MH is built around the IS31FL3731 LED driver IC, which provides autonomous PWM control (8-bit, 256 steps), 144 LEDs multiplexing, and onboard frame memory for smooth animations without constant MCU refresh. The brightness is individually adjustable per LED, and the chip supports multiple display frames. The CX-LEDMX-MH offers an easy way to create text, symbols, and visual effects in compact embedded projects. It comes in the "MH" form factor (2x1 Slot).

The picture shows clear LEDs, but the product comes with red colored LEDs since red tinted LEDs provide a much better readability and brightness when powered by only 3.3V.
