Description

Voice Recorder DIY Kit based on the ISD1820 integrated circuit, which can record a sound or voice message through microphone, and play it back using a speaker. The audio is stored in nonvolatile memory.

The Voice Recorder DIY Kit is a perfect beginner project to leave a lovely little note for someone, like a birthday wish or a shopping list.

The on-board push buttons can control the ISD1820 module’s function, or through its control pins, connected to a microcontroller like Arduino, STM32 or PIC, for example. The 2 slide switches are used to activate the “pass through” function, which means the board only operates as microphone amplifier, or for the “loop” function, which plays the recorded sound continuously.
