Texas Instruments TP3118 is a very capable hifi stereo amplifier chip. It’s fully digital architecture (Class-D) delivers a super high efficiency of >90%. Because of that, it can deliver 2 x 30W on 8 Ohm speakers withoutheat sink!
Our amplifier board works fine on an operating voltage of 8-26V DC, but of course the output power depends on the power supply. To achieve 30 Watts per channel (1% THD), the minimum operating voltage is 23V DC. With 12V, for example, the output power would beless than 10W (on 8 Ohm).
Additional to the amplifier hardware, this powerful module comes with a stereo audio Bluetooth receiver chip, making it a powerful driver for some Bluetooth bookshelf speakers, for example. Or to upgrade your old passive speakers with wireless, active technology.
Bluetooth pairing starts automatically after powering it up, theBluetooth name is “Xpecial Audio”.
This amplifier has an additional AUX input (3.5mm stereo) on board, to connect to non-BT devices.
