Description

Add up to 48 touch sensor keys to your next microcontroller project with this easy-to-use 12-channel capacitive touch sensor breakout board. It connects to almost any microcontroller by I2C and allows you to set it to 4 different addresses, making it possible to run 4 boards on the same I2C bus.

A touchpad can be any small piece of metal, like a coin or a piece of copper foil, connected to one of the touch input pins.

The I2C address is set to 0x5A by default but can be changed by opening the ADD jumper on the back of the module and connecting the ADD pin with one of the other 3 address setting connections.

Please note this is a 3.3V device. Therefore, the power supply and logic level must be between 2.5 and 3.6V.

Easy-to-use libraries for Arduino and other platforms are online available (on GitHub for example).

Dimensions of the PCB: ca. 20 x 30 x 2.5mm
