Description

The Arduino Uno R3 is the most common microcontroller development board based on the ATmega328.

The CANADUINO® module is a 100% identical, licensed product.

Arduino UNO R3 has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

The Arduino UNO R3 differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip. Instead, it features the Atmega16U2, programmed as a USB-to-serial converter. This enabled the Arduino UNO R3 to act like an HID (human interface device) and, for example, to send mouse actions or keystrokes to a host computer.

This Arduino Uno R3 controller module has the Atmega16u2 USB controller and uses the original board layout in compliance with the open-source license. This means you get technically the same product, but you save 50% because you don’t pay for the brand name on the PCB.
